5 Body Hacks for When You’re Sick

The 2nd one where you press on your wrist feels the exact same as when you hit your funny bone (ulnar nerve). That spot on the wrist is the median nerve but the feeling is very similar to when you hit your funny bone. I wonder if pressing on the ulnar nerve/funny bone that goes over your elbow would give the same nausea reducing effect as when you press on the median nerve on the wrist.

I think I understand that miso soup is just about as effective as chicken soup. Is that correct?

Did you get a cold in the last year or so? If you did, than your Covid preventive measures failed and you just got lucky. I haven't had a cold in over 5 years. Wash your hands, don't retouch the facet. Never touch your eyes, nose, face and ears unless you have washed or sanitized your hands. Very hard to do, but it works. Masks are just a false sense of security.

I already knew all of these. I eat chicken soup, even when I'm not sick, I just like the taste of it.

Sniffing alcohol is all well and good unless you nausea is caused by pregnancy 😔

  • Posted on Jul 14, 2021 at 08:08 am

There’s another really good pressure point for head pain and head aches between the thumb and pointer inside the connecting skin flap

  • Posted on Jul 14, 2021 at 14:06 pm

Pressing on your wrist pressure point isn’t supposed to hurt… lol. If it does, you’re doing it wrong or too hard.

And it absolutely works for all kinds of nausea. This just shows how ignorant modern medicine is.

  • Posted on Oct 14, 2021 at 00:20 am

I usually got sick for 2 weeks every 5 weeks. Then I stopped smoking and meat and started cooking. I never get sick anymore, for 3 years now. No Jinx.

  • Posted on Jun 13, 2022 at 08:21 am

The most interesting test would be, not chicken soup vs (hot) H2O, but chicken soup vs. beef soup or miso. I have tried this (N=1, but hey, it´s a start …) and my impression is that chicken soup is better (for colds – not knocking miso as food!). Sombody test this!
